Barack Obama endorsed a constitutional amendment that would restrict
the free-speech rights of political activist groups by overturning the
Supreme Court decision in the landmark Citizens United v FEC case that granted First Amendment rights to corporations.
“Over the longer term, I think we need to seriously consider
mobilizing a constitutional amendment process to overturn Citizens
United,” Obama wrote during a question and answer session on the website Reddit on Wednesday.
“Even if the amendment process falls short, it can shine a spotlight
of the super-PAC phenomenon and help apply pressure for change.”
In its decision, the Supreme Court said that the government could not
restrict the free-speech rights of organizations during elections,
striking down key provisions of the McCain-Feingold campaign finance
law.
That law restricted how much money independent political
organizations could spend and banned them from engaging in
election-related speech 60 days prior to a general election.
In his concurring opinion, Chief Justice John Roberts wrote that the
government was arguing for direct censorship of political speech, asking
the court to allow the banning of books, pamphlets, and any other type
of speech the government deemed necessary.
“The Government urges us in this case to uphold a direct prohibition
on political speech,” Roberts wrote. “It asks us to embrace a theory of
the First Amendment that would allow censorship not only of television
and radio broadcasts, but of pamphlets, posters, the Internet, and
virtually any other medium that corporations and unions might find
useful in expressing their views on matters of public concern.
“Its theory, if accepted, would empower the Government to prohibit
newspapers from running editorials or opinion pieces supporting or
opposing candidates for office, so long as the newspapers were owned by
corporations—as the major ones are.”
Roberts said that the First Amendment did not simply protect “the
individual on a soapbox” but the rights of everyone to engage in
political speech.
“The First Amendment protects more than just the individual on a soapbox and the lonely pamphleteer,” he said.
Barack Obama’s war on America’s seniors knows no limits. The Treasury
Department is withholding part of the Social Security monthly payments
of about 115,000 seniors because they have fallen behind on student loan
payments. There was a time when Social Security benefit payments were
untouchable, but that is a thing of the past.
Obama’s War on Seniors is growing at such a rate that the number of
affected seniors has almost doubled in just the last year. These size of
the payments being withheld are not insignificant. Depending on the
circumstances, some run up to as high as 15%. With the average retiree’s
benefit payment at about $1,234, the monthly bite could be nearly
$190.00. What’s worse is that many seniors don’t realize that they are
still liable for their student loan payments, even though they have been
pushed out of the working mainstream by Barack Obama’s fiscal policies.
Thanks to younger relatives, often grandchilderen, who are out of
work and unable to repay these loans (for the same reasons their elders
are either retired or working as Walmart greeters), people who never set
foot in a college classroom are having to suffer these reductions in
their small Social Security benefits.
A New Jersey attorney reports that he has represented six clients in
the last two years who have fallen into this repayment trap because they
co-signed a student loan application for a grandchild. Still, others
have gotten into trouble because, in an attempt to improve a personal
resume, they took out a student loan for Graduate school degrees that
ultimately came to naught.
Most seniors in this trap are embarrassed to speak about their
predicament, but one Boston attorney tells of working with an 83 year
old veteran who co-signed to cover the tuition of his son in the 1990s,
only to find that because both of them have fallen behind on the
required payments, he is now obligated to make payments on the loan. HE
is now seeing the federal government forcibly taking some of his
monthly Social Security check.
Paying what we owe is an import feature of the American character,
and certainly, it is a cherished part of the personal sense of being for
older Americans. Barack Obama’s failures are driving more and more
seniors to buy their dignity back each month at a high price. This is
Barack Obama’s war on seniors.

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.
Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?
Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?
You and I don't propose a federal budget. The President does.
You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.
You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.
You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.
You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.
One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one President, and nine
Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of the 300
million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for
the domestic problems that plague this country.
I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that
problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its
Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally
chartered, but private, central bank.
I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound
reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a
senator, a congressman, or a President to do one cotton-picking thing. I
don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The
politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the
lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine
how he votes.
Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that
what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con
regardless of party
What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive
amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a
Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating
deficits. The President can only propose a budget. He cannot force the
Congress to accept it.
The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole
responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and
approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House?
John Boehner. He is the leader of the majority party. He and fellow
House members, not the President, can approve any budget they want. If
the President vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree
to.
It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot
replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of
incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic
problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you
fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the
federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they
want to exist.
If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.
If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red.
If the Army & Marines are in Iraq and Afghanistan it's because they want them in Iraq and Afghanistan.
If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement
plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.
There are no insoluble government problems.
Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they
hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and
advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to
regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let
them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical
forces like "the economy","inflation," or "politics" that prevent them
from doing what they take an oath to do.
Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.
They, and they alone, have the power.
They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses.
Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.
We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess.

Does
the Democratic Party have a death wish? It continues to display a
suicidal desire to offend the delegates to its forthcoming convention
and the rest of the voters.
In recent days we learned that it is contemplating a platform plank
that would endorse same-sex marriage, something that its core
African-American voters detest. Maybe they are after the gay vote, but
gays constitute barely three percent of the population and not all are
Democrats.
It has been announced that former President Jimmy Carter will address
the convention via video. Widely regarded as the worst president of the
modern era, if not of all the presidents until Obama was elected,
Carter in his post-presidential life is best known for embracing every
dictator he ever met, for attacking Israel as an “apartheid” state and
as a staunch defender of the Palestinians whom even fellow Arabs
dislike. I am sure many American Jews, another voting bloc for
Democrats, will likely be offended by his participation.
Elizabeth Warren, a Massachusetts candidate for the Senate who
originated the “You didn’t build that” meme that Obama embraced will be
another convention speaker and, it turns out, she enhanced her resume by
claiming to be a native American with an infinitesimal amount of
Cherokee blood. Even the Cherokee nation has disowned her. There goes
the Native American vote.
In the eyes of the Obama administration, most Democratic lawmakers
and left-leaning editorial pages across the country, voter fraud is a
problem that doesn't exist. Allegations of fraud, they say, are little
more than pretexts conjured up by Republicans to
justify voter ID laws designed to suppress Democratic turnout.
That argument becomes much harder to make after reading a discussion
of the 2008 Minnesota Senate race in "Who's Counting?", a new book by
conservative journalist John Fund and former Bush Justice Department
official Hans von Spakovsky. Although the authors
cover the whole range of voter fraud issues, their chapter on Minnesota
is enough to convince any skeptic that there are times when voter fraud
not only exists but can be critical to the outcome of an important
race.
In the '08 campaign, Republican Sen. Norm Coleman was running for
re-election against Democrat Al Franken. It was impossibly close; on the
morning after the election, after 2.9 million people had voted, Coleman
led Franken by 725 votes.
Franken and his Democratic allies dispatched an army of lawyers to
challenge the results. After the first canvass, Coleman's lead was down
to 206 votes. That was followed by months of wrangling and litigation.
In the end, Franken was declared the winner
by 312 votes. He was sworn into office in July 2009, eight months after
the election.
During the controversy, a conservative group called Minnesota
Majority began to look into claims of voter fraud. Comparing criminal
records with voting rolls, the group identified 1,099 felons -- all
ineligible to vote -- who had voted in the Franken-Coleman
race.
Minnesota Majority took the information to prosecutors across the
state, many of whom showed no interest in pursuing it. But Minnesota law
requires authorities to investigate such leads. And so far, Fund and
von Spakovsky report, 177 people have been convicted
-- not just accused, but convicted -- of voting fraudulently in the
Senate race. Another 66 are awaiting trial. "The numbers aren't
greater," the authors say, "because the standard for convicting someone
of voter fraud in Minnesota is that they must have been
both ineligible, and 'knowingly' voted unlawfully." The accused can get
off by claiming not to have known they did anything wrong.
Still, that's a total of 243 people either convicted of voter fraud
or awaiting trial in an election that was decided by 312 votes. With
1,099 examples identified by Minnesota Majority, and with evidence
suggesting that felons, when they do vote, strongly
favor Democrats, it doesn't require a leap to suggest there might one
day be proof that Al Franken was elected on the strength of voter fraud.
MSNBC host: Paul Ryan quoting Thomas Jefferson a ‘lovely thing’ for ‘a wealthy white man’

On a special broadcast of MSNBC’s “Hardball” on Saturday, weekend morning host Melissa Harris-Perry expressed her displeasure with the selection of Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan as Mitt Romney’s running mate.
In particular, Harris-Perry took issue with Ryan quoting Thomas Jefferson’s line in the Declaration of Independence, in which he declared rights come from God and nature and not from government.
“The thing I really have against him is actually how he and Gov. Romney have misused the Declaration of Independence,” she said. “I’m deeply irritated by their notion that the ‘pursuit of happiness’ means money for the richest and that we extricate the capacity of ordinary people to pursue happiness. When they say ‘God and nature give us our rights, not government,’ that is a lovely thing to say as a wealthy white man.”
Harris-Perry said the words didn’t initially mean rights for African-Americans and women.
“When you sit in a body like mine as an African-American woman, you know that God and nature have in fact made us — inalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,” she continued. “But we could not have them until there was a Civil War that allowed the federal government to impose those nature and God-given rights would actually be respected by our government. And I think that they cannot continue to go down this line on the Declaration of Independence.”
(My note: I am glad that educated, thinking black people are able to see the Nation as it is today and not 150 years ago. Countries, like people, change with experiences and time. Old enemies become new friends, with time and forgiveness. I have a good friend who is Japanese. He doesn't hate me because of the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb. I once worked for a former Nazi SS paratrooper. He killed American soldiers in the line of duty, but we got along and honestly enjoyed each other's company. Racist remarks, like the quote above, deserve to be recognized for what they are...unacceptable.)
Islamic
terrorism expert Steven Emerson, executive director of the
Investigative Project for Terrorism, attributes the spate of
mosque-building and land acquisition to the Muslim American Society
(MAS), an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood. Emerson contends that the MAS
has been actively buying up property and establishing mosques to control
the appointment of imams who "distribute the message they believe is
necessary to spread Islam around the world." It
should be noted that a mosque is totally unlike a church or a
synagogue, entities that serve their communities under the law of the
land and are both empowered and restrained under the First Amendment of
the Constitution. Under the Establishment Clause of that amendment, the
government is prohibited from establishing a state religion or
conferring preferential treatment on one religion over another.
Although the government may not interfere with religious beliefs and
opinions, the proscription of religious practices is permissible, as in
the examples of polygamy and human sacrifice. In
the U.S. and in other Western countries, Christians and Jews freely and
critically choose their brand of theology from a multitude of
ecclesiastic offerings and determine their individual levels of
religious observance or none at all. The exercise of faith and the
observance of faith-related practices occur across a broad spectrum of
individual behaviors based solely on personal choice. In
Muslim countries, no separation exists between mosque and state.
Islamic doctrine or sharia controls all aspects of a person's existence,
from the correct way to use the toilet to permissible forms of lying,
or taquiya. For Muslims, Mohammed is the perfect man, whose every
example must be emulated, even though by Western Judeo-Christian
standards he was a mass murderer, pedophile, rapist, torturer, and
looter. Furthermore, Islamic doctrine is immutable, and any criticism
of the traditions and practices of Mohammed is considered apostasy,
which is punishable by death. No
free individual will exists or is allowed when it comes to practices
and observances. Sharia must be strictly followed. A mosque is a
symbol of this ultimate authority and serves the function of organizing
every aspect of life in a Muslim community. Mosques
are modeled after the first mosque established by Mohammed in Medina,
which was a seat of government, a command center, a court, a school, and
a military training center and depot for arms. Mosque leaders today
issue religious decrees, enforce Islamic doctrine, monitor conduct,
provide training, punish transgressions, and command actions, including
the requirement to conduct jihad. In the "Explanatory Memorandum On the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America,"
published in 1991 and discovered in a 2004 FBI raid of a house in
Northern Virginia, the Muslim Brotherhood explains historical stages of
Islamic activism for "civilizational jihad." This usurpation of
American Judeo-Christian and Western liberal social, political, and
religious values by Islam was defined in the document which gave the
role of the Muslim Brotherhood in America as "a kind of grand Jihad in
eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and
'sabotaging' its miserable house by their hands and the hands of
believers so that it is eliminated and G-d's religion is made victorious
over all other religions." The Explanatory Memorandumgoes
on to describe the role of the mosque or Islamic center as being
identical to the Medina mosque constructed by Mohammed, with its status
as a military base and a provider of jihadist training. In essence, the
mosque or Islamic center building operates in the service of
establishing an authoritative physical presence for a strategic base of
operations. Rather than the benign construction of a house of worship,
the building of a mosque represents one in a series of beachheads in the
interconnected network of bases to teach the skills of jihad, advance
Islam, and impose sharia in due time. The radical nature of U.S. mosques was confirmed in 2005 by a study conducted by Freedom House, "Saudi Publications on Hate Ideology Invade American Mosques,"
in which it was determined that 80% of American mosques encouraged
Muslims to work for the establishment of the Islamic state and espoused
hatred and intolerance toward non-Muslims. Beyond
the Freedom House study and further bolstering the contention that the
mosque is an institution of concern for Americans is the incidence and
prevalence of mosques that have harbored and trained terrorists as well
as raised money for terrorist activities. One such example, the Dar
al-Hijrah mosque in northern Virginia, is referred to as a "terror mill"
and front for Hamas operatives. The fact that it has been investigated
for its financing and aid of terrorists is not an unusual profile of
activities for U.S. mosques. Established in 1982 with Saudi funding,
the Dar al-Hijrah mosque is one of the largest and most influential
mosques in the country. Its leaders have routinely given militant
sermons condoning the use of violence and criticized U.S.
counterterrorism efforts. Imams
preaching at the mosque have included Mohammed al-Hanooti, an
unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombings, and
Anwar Awlaki, a senior al-Qaeda operative who was linked to three 9/11
hijackers, the Fort Hood shooter Major Nidal Hassan, and the Underwear
Bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. The mosque has hosted Muslims,
including Sam Al-Arian, who have been accused and convicted of
supporting the terrorist group Hamas. Astonishingly, the Dar al-Hijrah
mosque is still in operation, a privilege that would unlikely be
extended to a church or synagogue under similar circumstances. According
to former FBI agent and expert on Islam John Guandolo, we have over
2,000 so-called Islamic centers across the U.S. modeled after the
first mosque in Medina. These Islamic centers can be likened to
military command centers that imbue jihad ideology and serve as
processing centers for jihadist training, Guandolo says. In
view of the stated intent and the supporting ideology of
mosque-proliferation, we would be well-advised to heed the words of
former Muslim and professor of sharia law Sam Solomon, who declares, "We
must never forget that Islam is an all-encompassing ideological system,
and as such wherever there is a Muslim community there will be sharia,
and wherever there is sharia, there is Islamization of the territory and
ultimately the nation." Rather
than allowing the building of more mega-mosques in the United States,
we should halt existing projects and seriously consider shutting down
existing mosques to prevent the proliferation of an ideology that has
publicly pledged to destroy America.

Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat
belatedly got tough on spending increases. For 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi
& Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing
resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take
office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to
complete the 2009 budgets. And where was Barack Obama during this time?
He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive
spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete
2009. If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit,
the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five
years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that,
Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack
Obama, who voted for the budgets. If Obama inherited anything, he
inherited it from himself. In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is “I
inherited a deficit that I voted for and then I voted to expand that
deficit four-fold since January 20th.”

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -
An elderly couple is recovering Tuesday after they were brutally beaten inside their south Kansas City home.
The woman was also raped, according to a police report.
Tony L. Putman, 18, of Kansas City was
charged with six felonies Tuesday afternoon. The charges include one
count of rape and two counts of robbery.
The couple's ordeal began about 1:30 p.m.
Monday when a man broke into their home near 73rd Street and Campbell
Avenue. Entry was gained through a basement window, which was broken.
The 93-year-old man was home alone when the suspect began to ransack the house and attacked him, police said.
Putman hit the man in the face and bound him with belts, according to court documents.
In the meantime, the man's 84-year-old wife came home. She had been at the bank where she had gotten $400.
Police said the woman came into the house and heard her husband moaning.
"She went upstairs to check on him and she
met his attacker," according to court documents. "He bound her hands and
demanded money. She gave him $5."
After forcing the woman upstairs, the man
took $400 from her she had just received from the bank. He then raped
her, according to court documents. Putman allegedly also stole jewelry
from the home.
After the 93-year-old man broke free, he discovered his wife crumpled in a heap on the floor.
"You see all that stuff in the news and then
the next thing you know it happens to your family," said Chris Garcia,
who is married to the couple's daughter. "It's just a horrible thing
that someone would do something like that to two elderly people."
After receiving a description of the stolen
vehicle, police kept an eye out for it. Just before 3 p.m., police
became involved in a short chase with the driver. Three people inside
the car were taken into custody but ultimately not charged.
"I did it all," Putman allegedly told police when he was taken into custody. "They had nothing to do with anything."
Putman cut his arm while breaking in and blood evidence was obtained at the scene, according to court documents.
At police headquarters, Putman denied being
at the couple's home. He said his mother gave him the jewelry and he
found the stolen car at 74th Street and Troost Avenue.
Putman claimed he injured his wrist while wrestling with a cousin.
His mother denied giving him the jewelry and
his cousin denied injuring him while wresting. One of those in the car
with Putman had $362 in cash on him when he was arrested, but said his
mother gave it to him.
"We're just lucky that they were able to catch up to those people before they did any harm to anybody else," Garcia said.
The couple was treated at an area hospital and released Monday night.
Prosecutors are seeking a $200,000 bond. A judge has not set bond yet.
Ever
wonder why presidents before Barack Obama didn’t feel the need to
publicly berate the U.S. Supreme Court during a State of the Union
address, even when they disagreed with a decision, as Obama did over the
campaign finance ruling?
Did you think why earlier presidents did not demand ranks of
unaccountable “czars” in the White House, to address everything from
water use to executive pay?
And did you notice the reams of orders emanating from the Obama White
House regarding immigration policy, social welfare programs and
terrorism policy, issues that logically should be addressed by Congress?
There’s one man who’s noticed it all: Filmmaker Joel Gilbert, who has directed the new “Dreams from My Real Father: A Story of Reds and Deception,” about Obama and his past.
Gilbert purports in his production that Obama’s biological father was
not the “Kenyan goat herder” Barack Obama Sr., who visited the United
States as a student and later returned to Kenya.
Instead, his evidence suggests that Obama’s biological father was
Frank Marshall Davis, a Communist Party USA propagandist, and who has
prevailing influence over White House actions even today.
Gilbert told WND that his background in Middle East and Islamic
studies had him working in 2010 on “Atomic Jihad: Ahmadinejad’s Coming
War and Obama’s Politics of Defeat.”
He reviewed hundreds of Obama speeches during that research and noted an “odd” pattern of behavior in Obama.
“When speaking of issues relating to the rich and the poor, Obama
became very excited, speaking rapidly and louder, always in a higher
pitch. On other subjects, he was quite calm. Why would Obama have an
inner passion for class struggle? From my knowledge of his background,
exclusive prep school, Ivy Leagues, Harvard Law – it didn’t seem to
fit,” he said.
But for Gilbert, a film director, writer, and musician who creates
documentaries through his Highway 61 Entertainment, the light clicked on
when he read Obama’s book, “Dreams from My Father.”
There were multiple references to Obama seeking out Marxist
individuals, pursuing socialist events, and advocating for a “community”
lifestyle.
His investigation then turned to Davis, whose name repeatedly was mentioned in Obama’s writing.
“His close physical resemblance to Obama was shocking, while Obama
little resembled the Kenyan Obama. How could this be?” he wondered on his website about the new “Dreams” production.
“I unearthed two film archives of Frank Marshall Davis, one from
1973, the other from 1987, as well as Davis’ photo collection. I then
acquired 500 copies of the Honolulu Record, the communist run newspaper
where Davis wrote a weekly political column for eight years. I also
obtained seven indecent photos of Ann Dunham, Obama’s mother, taken at
Frank Marshall Davis’ house, suggesting an intimate connection between
Dunham and Davis.
“I concluded that to understand Obama’s plans for America, the question was ‘Who is the real father?’”
Gilbert, who previously challenged Hollywood’s comfort zone with
“Farewell Israel: Bush, Iran and the Revolt of Islam,” said the bottom
line is that Obama’s “story” of an inspiring childhood is just not real.
Gilbert told WND, “I felt I could build a case that Obama in fact had a very deeply disturbing family background.”
And Obama is, in fact, pursuing the “dreams” from his “father” – his real father, a “likely Soviet agent,” Gilbert said.
There is an ever-present set of themes about which Obama revolves, he
said, including a “top 1 percent taking advantage” and “a proletariat
being taken advantage of.”
There are “evil straw men preventing the working class from upward mobility,” he said. “This is classic Marxist ideology.”
Even Obama’s recent claims to small business owners that “You didn’t build that,” align with the ideology of Karl Marx.
“This is all the justification for taking over, redistributing
wealth. It’s preliminary talk for telling people they are being
oppressed by evil straw men,” he continued.
Gilbert felt he had to tell the story – especially as the primary
major media outlets in the nation are isolating and ignoring the issues
at hand regarding Obama – and he turned to film.
“My ‘Dreams’ provides the first cohesive understanding of Obama’s
deep rooted life journey in socialism. It includes Obama’s
indoctrination in Marxism by Frank Marshall Davis, his college years,
his job as ‘organizer,’ his involvement with Project Vote and the
subprime mortgage crisis, the Ayers family, Alinsky and Reverend Wright,
all the way to his campaigns and presidency,” he said.
He said it is “shocking” how the long-independent media in the United
States has decided to “support this false narrative” of Obama’s Kenyan
father and typical childhood.
He said as part of his effort to get the message out, he’s working on delivery of copies of his DVD to members of the public.
Gilbert told WND his goal is based on the fact that Americans are a
great people, and they “deserve to elect … a president on a truthful and
honest depiction of both his political foundations, his background and
his plans and what he will do.”
“We deserve and must have honesty from candidates as to what they
intend to do,” he said. “Barack Obama has violated that trust to their
votes.”
Gilbert said Obama needs to speak honestly about those issues.
“Obama must come clean and admit his real background, who is his real
father,” he said, so that voters can vote based on who he really is and
what he wants to do.
“Obama’s election was not a sudden political phenomenon. It was the
culmination of an American socialist movement that Frank Marshall Davis
nurtured in Chicago and Hawaii, and has been quietly infiltrating the
U.S. economy, universities, and media for decades,” Gilbert warned.
“‘Problem solving’ and ‘fair play’ are the new code words that
socialists employ in a determined strategy to move the Democratic party
to the far left, and embrace socialism as their natural ideology.
Obama’s anti-democratic behavior, including consolidation of power
through Czars, going around Congress, intimidating the Supreme Court,
and class polarization tactics can be better understood after viewing
‘Dreams from My Real Father.’”
The
federal General Services Administration, with the White House’s
blessing and the Department of Homeland Security’s knowledge, ordered
law enforcement personnel not to arrest Occupy Seattle protesters who
broke the law last year.
Department of Homeland Security documents obtained through a Freedom
of Information Act request by Judicial Watch show law enforcement was
told to ignore Occupiers who chained themselves to a concrete barrel in
violation of curfew and laws against overnight camping at a site in
Portland.
According to the Judicial Watch press release, on Nov. 6, 2011,
DHS/National Protection and Programs Directorate Chief of Staff Caitlin
Durkovich and GSA Public Buildings Service Commissioner Robert Peck had
the following email exchange:
(From Durkovich:) “I am sorry to
be emailing you on a Sunday night, but wanted to let you know our Press
Shop has received a couple of calls from Portland media outlets about a
group of 11 protesters who again set up camp at Terry Shrunk Plaza in
Portland last night. They have chained themselves to a large drum filled
with concrete. GSA controls the permits and has asked FPS (Federal Protective Services)
not to enforce the curfew at park and the prohibition on overnight
encampments. Reporters have asked if we will be arresting the protestors
as FPS did last week.
“Our FPS Commander in Portland says they
are standing down and following GSA’s request to only intervene if there
is a threat to public safety.”
(From Peck:) “Caitlin: yes, that
is our position; it’s been vetted with our Administrator and Michael
Robertson, our chief of staff, and we have communicated with the WH (White House),
which has afforded us the discretion to fashion our approach to Occupy
issues…The arrests last week were carried out despite our request that
the protesters be allowed to remain and to camp overnight…”
The week before, 25 Seattle Occupiers had been arrested by police
after a standoff at a place called Jamison Square. The charges included
trespass, disorderly conduct and interfering with a police officer.
During the Occupy Wall Street protests last year, many of which
turned violent and most of which involved mass law breaking and numerous
arrests, the White House on multiple occasions told the media that no
one from the Obama Administration had encouraged or aided the Occupiers,
even though Obama himself expressed support of the Occupiers in his
speeches.
You may recognize Peck’s name as the official at the center of the
GSA Las Vegas scandal wherein taxpayer money paid for an $823,000
training weekend in Sin City that included a $31,000 reception and
high-priced entertainment. Peck has since been fired for the 2010
incident.
He is currently being sued by a GSA whistleblower for alleged retaliation.
Judicial Watch has found yet another smoking gun showing that the
Obama Administration and the DHS have willfully allowed select groups to
break the law.
If you’re on the ins with this administration, you can get away with
anything, including providing the guns that are used in the murders of
Border Patrol agents.
Average citizens are grilled, humiliated and practically raped just
for the privilege of flying on an airplane, conservative organizations
are harassed by the IRS, contributors to King Obama’s political opponent
are pilloried and have their private information posted on the
Internet, yet criminals from favored groups walk freely where they will.
The Department of Homeland Security is a rogue agency, and this administration is an enemy of the American people.

An Obama classmate from Columbia University called him out this week for stirring up a bogus smear campaign against Romney over his taxes, insisting that Obama's motive is not only to distract voters from the worsteconomic recovery in post-WWII history, but also to avoid a far more scandalous and devastating skeleton Obama has hiding in hisown closet...buried deep inside those college records he still refuses to unseal (and has paid millions to keep under lock and key).
If anyone should have questions about Obama’s record at
Columbia University, it’s me. We both graduated (according to Obama)
Columbia University, Class of ’83. We were both (according to Obama)
Pre-Law and Political Science majors. And I thought I knew most everyone
at Columbia. I certainly thought I’d heard of all of my fellow
Political Science majors. But not Obama (or as he was known then- Barry
Soetoro). I never met him. Never saw him. Never even heard of him. And
none of the classmates that I knew at Columbia have ever met him, saw
him, or heard of him.
But don’t take my word for it. The Wall Street Journal reported in 2008 that Fox News randomly called 400 of our Columbia classmates and never found one who had ever met Obama.
In other words, Obama is going to great lengths to prevent the
release of his records from a school that no one remembers him attending
(which means he either completely lied about graduating there or failed
a lot of classes, which would prevent him from getting financial aid)
and that he had no means of paying for at the time.

If you could unseal Obama’s Columbia University records I believe you’d find that:
A) He rarely ever attended class.
B) His grades were not those typical of what we understand it takes to get into Harvard Law School.
C) He attended Columbia as a foreign exchange student.
D) He paid little for either undergraduate college or
Harvard Law School because of foreign aid and scholarships given to a
poor foreign students like this kid Barry Soetoro from Indonesia.
Root suspects that Obama's mother never changed his citizenship back
when they returned to the U.S., that the records Obama is so fiercely
guarding reveal this beyond question, and that this is the reason Obama
cannot allow this conversation to take place...hence all the relentless
smearing of Romney as having something to hide in his background.

doing, as you are doing it, to create confusion, cloud the issue, and
inoculate voters against any evidence of your guilt. It's a

A retired U.S. Army colonel who now teaches modern warfare
to soldiers at the University of Foreign Military and Cultural Studies
at Fort Leavenworth, Kan. has co-written an article with a Civil War
expert that has ignited a firestorm today among those increasingly concerned about what some say is a distinct anti-civilian tone that has infected much of the military and Homeland Security since 2009.
Retired Col. Kevin Benson and Jennifer Weber, Associate Professor of History at the University of Kansas, co-wrote an article
for Small Wars Journal on a 2010 Army report titled, "U.S. Army
Training and Doctrine Command, The Army Operating Concept 2016 - 2028."
The report describes how the Army will respond to threats "at home
and abroad" in the coming two decades and in doing so has made clear
that a monumental cultural shift has occurred in the thinking of those
at the top levels of military command. This shift has some government
watchdogs worried, particularly given that Benson is using the platform
provided at Fort Leavenworth to indoctrinate soldiers in his vision of
the nature of modern warfare in America. According to the vision
articulated by Benson, future warfare will be conducted on our own soil.
The military will use its full force against our own citizens. The
enemy will be average citizens whose values resonate with those
articulated by the tea party.
The fictitious scenario used in the Army report as a teaching tool is
a future insurrection of "tea party activists" in South Carolina. As
the scenario goes, the tea party group stages a takeover of the town of
Darlington, S.C. The mayor is placed under house arrest and prevented
from exercising his duties. The police chief, the county sheriff, and
other law enforcement officials are removed from office and told not to
interfere. The city council is dissolved. The governor of the state, who
had previously expressed solidarity with tea party goals, does little
to address the situation.
A news conference is called by the new town leaders, all tea party
activists, who tell the media that due to the failure of central
government to address the concerns of the citizens, the Declaration of
Independence has been re-imposed and the local government has been
declared null and void. From the report:
When the leaders of the group hold a press conference to
announce their goals, they invoke the Declaration of Independence and
argue that the current form of the federal government is not deriving
its “just powers from the consent of the governed” but is actually
“destructive to these ends.” Therefore, they say, the people can alter
or abolish the existing government and replace it with another that, in
the words of the Declaration, “shall seem most likely to effect their
safety and happiness.” While mainstream politicians and citizens react
with alarm, the “tea party” insurrectionists in South Carolina enjoy a
groundswell of support from other tea party groups, militias, racist
organizations such as the Ku Klux Klan, anti-immigrant associations such
as the Minutemen, and other right-wing groups.
Several items of interest are to be noted in the scenario the Army
uses to describe the tea party activists -- "right wing," "extremists,"
"insurrectionists," all of whom are lumped together with militias and
organizations that are considered "racist" and "anti-immigration."
By contrast, those who oppose the tea party are referred to as "mainstream."
The obvious question that arises is why would this sort of scenario,
with its obviously biased and skewed portrayals, be presented as a
teaching tool to young soldiers? Why would the U.S. military consider
the tea party to be "extremist" or "insurrectionist?" And why would the
tea party be classified together with groups that are "racist,
"anti-immigration," and "extremist right wing?"
In the numerous tea party rallies that have occurred across the
nation no racism was noted by any observer. Speakers included persons of
all races and ethnic backgrounds. No sentiment was expressed against
legal immigration but outrage was directed toward those break the law
and enter the country by illegal means. And the charge that the tea
party is extremist right wing is difficult to justify given that the
main thrust of the movement is the protest against runaway government
spending that has placed the nation on the brink of economic ruin due to
its enormous and unsustainable debt.
Yet repeatedly since the election of Barack Obama in 2009, the
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has referred to the tea party as "potential homegrown terrorists."
Why? Not a shred of evidence remotely suggests that the tea party has
any connection whatsoever with terrorists. Yet some of President
Obama's closet longtime friends have not only been associated with
terrorism but actively participated in it, such as Bill Ayers
and Bernadine Dohrn, who as members of the Weathermen from the 1960s
and 70s bombed federal buildings that resulted in the deaths of police
officers.
But if one listens to the rhetoric emanating from the White House,
DHS, and now the U.S. military, one gets the impression that none of the
president's friends ever posed a threat to the country but hundreds of
thousands of tea party activists are ticking time bombs lying in wait to
unleash a nuke on an American city at the drop of a hat.
The brainwashing against conservatives by this administration has had
a definite impact on the military. One analyst who works for retired
U.S. Maj. Gen. Paul E. Vallely told this reporter that now over half of Pentagon personnel are solidly in Obama's corner and share his values and world view.
And with the publication of the Benson and Weber article, it is now
clear that the U.S. Army considers it a valid proposition to assume that
a future civil war will be sparked not by extremist Islamists with
dirty bombs or left wing insurrectionists inspired by Alinsky or Ayers
but by the tea party and the conservatives who participate in it.
President Barack Obama, along with many Democrats, likes to say
that, while they may disagree with the GOP on many issues related to
national security, they absolutely share their admiration and dedication
to members of our armed forces. Obama, in particular, enjoys being seen
visiting troops and having photos taken with members of our military.
So, why is his campaign and the Democrat party suing to restrict their
ability to vote in the upcoming election?
On July 17th, the Obama for America Campaign, the Democratic National
Committee, and the Ohio Democratic Party filed suit in OH to strike
down part of that state's law governing voting by members of the
military. Their suit said that part of the law is "arbitrary" with "no
discernible rational basis."
Currently, Ohio allows the public to vote early in-person up until
the Friday before the election. Members of the military are given three extra days to
do so. While the Democrats may see this as "arbitrary" and having "no
discernible rational basis," I think it is entirely reasonable given the
demands on servicemen and women's time and their obligations to their
sworn duty.
The National Defense Committee reports:
[f]or each of the last three years, the Department of Defense’s
Federal Voting Assistance Program has reported to the President and the
Congress that the number one reason for military voter
disenfranchisement is inadequate time to successfully vote.
I think it's unconscionable that we as a nation wouldn't make it as
easy as possible for members of the military to vote. They arguably have
more right to vote than the rest of us, since it is their service and
sacrifice that ensures we have the right to vote in the first place.
If anyone proposes legislation to combat voter fraud, Democrats will
loudly scream that the proposal could "disenfranchise" some voter,
somewhere. We must ensure, they argue, that voting is easy and
accessible to every single voter. Every voter, that is, except the men
and women of our military.
Make no mistake, the Democrat lawsuit is intended to disenfranchise
some unknown number of military voters. The judge should reject it with
prejudice.
Americans have turned out all over the country today to stand in
support of Chick-Fil-A. A minor controversy broke out weeks ago when the
chicken fast-food chain's CEO, Dan Cathy, made public comments to a
reporter about his financial donations to pro-family groups.
In response, liberal lawmakers around the country expressed outrage.
Boston Mayor Thomas Menino declared that Chick-Fil-A wasn't welcome in
his town, and both Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and a local Chicago
Alderman said they'd work to block any proposed restaurants being built
in their jurisdiction despite the obvious violation of the First
Amendment that implies.
Menino and Emanuel backed off their stances, but former Arkansas Gov.
and Fox News host Mike Huckabee thought that pro-family Americans should
stand in solidarity with Chick-Fil-A and declared that August 1 would
be "Chick-Fil-A day."
