What’s the difference between Iran and America?

Iranian dichotomies and American ironies – what’s the difference between Iran and America? Both are ruled by narcissistic, fascist dictators, a de facto one-party system dominated by cronyism, corruption, political commissars and a state-run press that justifies perverting the Constitution to “help the poor” and crush all political dissent. Remember that Ahmadinejad’s biggest demographic are the lower classes from the southern regions of Iran.

Now it has come out the Obama used backchannel communications with Iran’s supreme leader, the Ayatollah Khamenei. The letter was sent between May 4 and May 10 and laid out the prospect of “cooperation in regional and bilateral relations” and a resolution of the dispute over Iran’s nuclear program. A Mideastwire.com article broke the story:

“The American president was quoted as saying that he expected the people of Iran to take to the streets,” Ayatollah Khamenei misquoted Mr. Obama as saying, according to a translation.”On the one hand, they [the Obama administration] write a letter to us to express their respect for the Islamic Republic and for re-establishment of ties, and on the other hand they make these remarks. Which one of these remarks are we supposed to believe? Inside the country, their agents were activated. … The violators are not the public or the supporters of the candidates. They are the ill-wishers, mercenaries and agents of the Western intelligence services and the Zionists.”

These Iranian/American dichotomies are incredible. They show the utterly duplicitous, craven nature of Obama and how comfortable he is with coddling fascist Muslim dictators while bringing the iron fist to Israel and Bibi Netanyahu, demanding that they trade “land for peace” with the Palestinians despite the fact that Israel is a very tiny nation possessing only one-sixth of 1 percent of the total land mass of the Middle East.

After this letter Obama sent to the ayatollah is fully vetted, I’m sure it will become clear that much in the same way as the 1938 Munich Treaty between Neville Chamberlain and Hitler lit the fuse for World War II and the Nazi genocide of 6 million Jews in the Holocaust, so we will soon learn that Obama’s appeasement letter to the ayatollah gave Iran the green light to steal the presidential election, brutally crush all political dissent and develop nuclear weapons with impunity to “wipe Israel off the map.”

Obama has disappointed no one but the tens of millions of besieged Iranians who honestly believed in representative democracy and the billions of people throughout the world oppressed under totalitarian regimes whose one light for freedom and liberty, America, was extinguished by the words and letters of appeasement by president Obama.

Bank Holiday Coming? Prepare?

From Harry Schultz:
Dear Bob:
Bob Chapman’s Int’l Forecaster newsletter revealed (5/20) this startling intelligence (from within US State Dept & embassies):

”Some US embassies worldwide are being advised to purchase massive amounts of local currencies; enough to last them a year. Some embassies are being sent enormous amounts of US cash to purchase currencies from those govts, quietly. But not £’s. Inside the State Dept there is a sense of sadness & foreboding that ‘something’ is about to happen, unknown re a date—just that within 180 days, but could be 120-150 days.”

Bob quotes another source that “Panasonic has told their people to be back in Japan by Sept 09.”

Harry Schultz, dean of newsletter writers, has quoted the Chapman letter of May 30 regarding US embassies being sent large amounts of cash with which to buy local *currencies, to last them a year. Here is Harry’s remarkable take on the situation:

“My HSL suspicion is that the elite plan another FDR style “bank holiday” of indefinite length, perhaps very soon, to let the insiders sort-out the bank mess which is getting more out of their control every day.*Insiders want/need to impose new bank rules. Widespread nationalization could result, already under way. It could also lead to a formal US$ devaluation, as FDR did by revaluing gold (& then confiscating it). But devalue against what? The euro? Doubtful. Gold? Maybe. Or vs. the IMF basket of currencies (which seems more likely)—& much in the news recently. Any kind of bank holiday will push the US$ lower, which may be a bonus benefit to their ongoing scenario of letting the $ fall. Such a fall would get the devaluation they want without having to declare it. In sum, the insiders want more bank & system control, fewer banks & a lower US$. A bank holiday would suit all their needs.

May of 2003, Ludwig Von Mises penned the following words:

“In using the term freedom as applied to human beings, we think only of freedom within society. Yet, today, social freedoms are considered by many people to be independent of one another. Those who call themselves “liberals” today are asking for policies, which are precisely the opposite of those policies which the liberals of the nineteenth century advocated in their liberal programs. The so-called liberals of today have the very popular idea that freedom of speech, of thought of the press, freedom of religion, freedom from imprisonment without trial–that all these freedoms can be preserved in the absence of what is called economic freedom. They do not realize that, in a system where there is no market, where the government directs everything, all those other freedoms are illusory, even if they are made into laws and written up in constitutions. How to get the gold out of Ft. Knox

"Crude Oil for Gold! No more Dollars" said Saudi king to Obama

"We're heading into an Obamageddon" Said Gerald Celente on Coast.to.Coast.AM. June.08.2009 with George Noory, "This is the collapse of empire America happening right before our eyes" ...China, Gold, oil, hyperinflation, federal reserve, Obama, the dollar value are among the subjects treated by trends analyst Gerald Celente offering his commentary about the economy. The American bailout plan has been driven by a kind of "optimism opium," and other countries are starting to express concern over how the US keeps printing money without anything to back it up, he said. Wall Street has "hijacked" Washington and we're heading into an "Obamageddon,"

Obama's Preventive Detention Plan

Obama Is Said to Consider Preventive Detention Plan
By SHERYL GAY STOLBERG

WASHINGTON — President Obama told human rights advocates at the White House on Wednesday that he was mulling the need for a “preventive detention” system that would establish a legal basis for the United States to incarcerate terrorism suspects who are deemed a threat to national security but cannot be tried, two participants in the private session said...

They said Mr. Obama told them he was thinking about “the long game” — how to establish a legal system that would endure for future presidents. He raised the issue of preventive detention himself, but made clear that he had not made a decision on it. Several senior White House officials did not respond to requests for comment on the outsiders’ accounts.

“He was almost ruminating over the need for statutory change to the laws so that we can deal with individuals who we can’t charge and detain,” one participant said.

Many people fail to be alarmed by such ponderings, for they think that such a curtailing of basic rights would never be used against them. We are constantly told by the media that such actions are only necessary for terrorists and those who are threats to the security of the nation. Yet, the definition of who is a threat to the nation has been re-written to include a great many who are citizens of the United States. Included in this number are now those who are deemed as hate-based because they object to homosexuality and abortion, and those who declare that there is salvation in no other than the God of the Scriptures. Following is an excerpt from a recent (April 7, 2009) publication put out by the government of the United States’ Department of Homeland Security.

Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment
7 April 2009
(U) Prepared by the Extremism and Radicalization Branch, Homeland Environment Threat Analysis Division. Coordinated with the FBI.

* (U) Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration...
[End Excerpt]

It is not hard to discern the trends that are occurring at an ever accelerating pace. There is an erosion of Constitutionally protected freedoms in America, and many of the people of this nation will soon be classified as “rightwing extremists” and threats to the government for nothing more than seeking to defend the unborn or to proclaim what the Scriptures say about behaviors such as homosexuality.

There are at present 35 states that have passed “Tenth Amendment” laws, and those who support such laws are also being classified as “rightwing extremists” for the document above declares, “those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority...”

The Tenth Amendment movement is described in the following Fox News article.

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
-- U.S. Constitution, Tenth Amendment

Fed up with Washington's involvement in everything from land use to gun control to education spending, states across the country are fighting back against what they say is the federal government's growing intrusion on their rights.

At least 35 states have introduced legislation this year asserting their power under the Tenth Amendment to regulate all matters not specifically delegated to the federal government by the Constitution.

"This has been boiling for years, and it's finally come to a head," said Utah State Rep. Carl Wimmer. "With TARP and No Child Left Behind, these things that continue to give the federal government more authority, our rights as states and individuals are being turned on their head."

The power struggle between the states and Washington has cropped up periodically ever since the country was founded. But now some states are sending a simple, forceful message:

The government has gone too far. Enough is enough...

New Fairness Doctrine

OK ... if Execs in the private sector have to pay for their company losses, Senators, House Reps, the VP, POTUS and all others in decision making roles that have voted for a failed project (i.e. the Bail-Out) have to pay back their salaries to cover the losses they voted in. No credit line ... if they can’t pay, prison! This would be fair. Detain government officials under the patriot act and hold them indefinitely.

Unions and Obama

If executives that actually produce something for the economy can have their pay limited, then movie stars, rock stars, basketball football and baseball players should all be limited as well...their contributions are strictly for entertainment...it's a straight up lie that Obama is perpetrating that Wall Street caused this mess... when D.C. forced them (the banks) to loan to unqualified borrowers. Obama is definitely taking full advantage of this crisis and we will see our best and brightest go overseas to Ireland and other nations that actually are promoting a free economy....Unions destroyed the auto industry..they destroyed the airlines...they've destroyed our schools....why not limit them...instead they destroyed GM and Chrysler and Obama hands them 25% of the companies...But then again the UAW gave Obama 4 million dollars for his campaign so...time to pay them back...The UAW has given Democrats 42 million dollars since '01..GOP? less than 200 thousand...Seems those (union workers) pensions should be funded instead of buying politicians...but I guess if the President hands you the company after you destroyed it...it's money well spent.
